Dues / Fees
New Membership - $100.00 plus a one time processing fee of $20.00
The application processing fee is non-refundable, including if applicant does not meet membership criteria.
Annual dues are $100 and due by December 31st for the following calendar year. If you join in October, November, or December, your application fee will include the following calendar year.

AAPPSPA has three levels of membership.
Full Membership - open to any SLP or audiologist who has full responsibility for his/ her private practice, has a master's degree or its equivalent, holds the CCCs or appropriate state licensure, and who has not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving fraud or misrepresentation. Full Members have AAPPSPA listserve privileges, the right to serve on the Board and committees, to hold office, and to vote in elections and/or matters pertaining to such issues as changes in the By-Laws.
Affiliate Membership - open to anyone who does not meet the requirements of full membership but who is interested in the goals and activities of the Academy. An Affiliate has the all the same privileges as a full member with the exceptions of the right to vote and the right to be included on the AAPPSPA listserve.
Life Membership - open to members who have completed a minimum of twenty-five (25) years membership in the Academy and have obtained the age of 65 are eligible for LIFE Membership upon the recommendation and approval by the Board of Directors. Life members do not have to pay dues but are otherwise entitled to all the rights and privileges of membership.
