Information Collection and Usage
AAPPSPA collects basic user information through voluntary completion of forms, such as membership applications, renewal forms, events registration forms and contact forms. The information collected by AAPPSPA is for internal use only, related to membership activities and events. The organization will never sell personal information to any third party, share it with a third party, nor use it for any undisclosed purpose without the prior consent of the user or member.
AAPPSPA may use member-provided email addresses to contact members on an individual basis. Registered members may receive occasional announcements from us regarding events or membership, but are free to opt out of such communications at any time.
Cookies are used on this site, enabling AAPPSPA to deliver customized content to members. A cookie is a small text file residing on a member's computer hard drive or memory as a unique identifier, and our cookies do not collect any personally identifiable information. Any member may choose to delete or block cookies, but in so doing, some of the site functionality may no longer work as intended, and may not work at all.
This site offers a chat area and message boards, and both areas are closed to non-members. However, they are open to other members, and information posted in these venues not only becomes the property of AAPPSPA, but also becomes public knowledge to the other members.
